Paperblanks are a Canadian producer of fine quality notebooks, which, are not only attractive but extremely well constructed, bound using traditional techniques the bindings are not glued (a technique of binding which, although economical to the manufacturer, leads eventually to page loss) but instead are all stitched.
All Paperblanks notebooks are bound using two methods. Either hand stitched, using 'Coptic' binding which has its origins in 4th century Egypt, or Smythe sewn, the most durable of binding techniques, allowing the notebook to open flat without the loss of pages.
All Paperblanks notebooks use fine laid writing paper which is acid free, of archival quality and, with a high opacity. Their notebooks also feature a ribbon page marker and a memento pouch on the inside back cover.
As well as their superb notebooks Paperblanks also offer a large range of diaries, both in academic and annual format, all made to the same high standard as the notebooks.
