Description
The Pen of the Year 2021 recalls the medieval legends of knights, their heroes, myths and sword fighting, featuring a design inspired by the Damascus steel of old. Damascus steel was used to forge swords due to its unique properties of being flexible and hard. Unique designs are created through repeated folding and welding of different types of steel, creating an iridescent surface.
